Echoes of Faydwer launch day!

Echoes of Faydwer is currently being patched to all the live servers. The scheduled downtime started at 4am PST and extends approximately 12hrs.

*** Headlines ***

• The maximum guild level has increased to 60, with new guild rewards and nobility titles. In addition, all guilds can choose various heraldry options for their cloaks once they reach the appropriate level.
• Starting at level 10, all characters can now earn and spend Achievement points.
• Check out the new and improved character generation flow!
• Horses have improved animations across the board. And they have learned how to jump!
• All characters can now wear a second earring. Go, glitter!
• Crafters and consumers alike rejoice over the new secure commission system.
• We’ve made many small tweaks to improve the quality of combat. Take a look at this post for more details.

Full Patch Notes

The interface changes are quit extensive and nearly every interface modification is effected. I ask that every one be patient while authors work on their updates. I have posted a compare of the extensive interface changes that come with Echoes of Faydwer and suggest interface authors take a look and discuss it here.

If you are a EQ2Map user I suggest you run the eq2map updater and make sure you have the latest xml or download the new manual version otherwise you will have trouble seeing the 18 new maps that come with Echoes of Faydwer.
