depechenode's LITE Version Advanced Player w/stats

This is another version of my advanced player window. It uses the SOE Player health and mana bars.
As per reuqest by a few users.

BTW, you can STILL click on the vitality buble and swtich your XP bars back and forth! Only change from my other window and this is the Player BARS!

Credit to Humudce for the awesome Experience Mod I incorporated into this window.

Credit to Daimond for use of the graphics for health and power and for basic arrangement idea for the window.

Credit to anyone else who I might have used bits of their stuff in my window just forgetting what I might have used.

--Known issues:
*NONE*

--Installation:
Simply place the .xml into your /mods directory
Place the player_bg.dds and the player_parts.dds into your /mods/images directory.
Next place the icon_ss1.dds into your /mods/images/icons directory.
Finally, restart EQ2 and enjoy

Corrected the problem with the window not being viewable.
Move the Zone info to Left Justified.

BTW - My other window the non lite version functions IDENTICAL to this one, just has a different display for health and power as well as it shows numbers/% for both. Check it out:

If you already dl'ed this mod and can't wait for server approval to get the corrected file do the following:

Open the file eq2ui_mainhud_player.xml from my .zip file YOU dowloaded with NotePad.

On the FIRST line, look for Name="PlayerSORIAN" (it might even be Name="PlayerCheezey") whatever it is, CHANGE that to Name="Player"

Now save the file.

Restart EQ2 and you should be GTG.

Sorry for the error, I was testing the window for someone and forgot to revert the name back to the standard so EQ2 will recognize the window.

If you are not confortable editing via NotePad, then wait for a few, the file is loaded just waiting on server to approve.

The FIXED version is 2.0

Some errors:

The background is missing, and the Coin image for the button is missing. I opened the attached dds files, and there doesn't seem to be a Coin image. I didn't research to see why the background is showing as missing (when turned on). All 3 dds files were installed as per the instructions in the included text file.

ok let me look at it again.. it works well on my three machines. So let me see what is astray. One thing, don't worry bout the icon_ss1.dds file it is extra and should not be there, if you placed it in the directory it WILL NOT hurt anything, just extra file is all.

Make sure the .dds files I provided are installed in the images directory off your custom folder.

Look at this screnshot to see what I am talking about.

Ok, this time i got it right, I had mixed up two different archives. Correct install instructions are included and posted as well on DL page.

New file is uploaded and DOES work.

I love this version. The layout is excellent (for the most part) and fits in great with the rest of my screen. I was going to post a few suggestions, but I decided to go ahead and make the changes myself so I'd get it just the way I like it.

Basically, I just changed the player info part a bit to include health and power amounts, and rearranged the clocks and concentration bars. I also added shadows to all the text since I prefer to have the back and frames turned completely off.

The only thing that I can't seem to get to work the way I want is to have some sort of frame (or shadow) around the concentration bubbles. I looked at your other mod with these, and added the lines in, but evidentally am not doing something correctly.

I'm attaching the version that I've modified in hopes that you might look at it and see if you can tell me what I'm missing. Feel free to re-release it as your own if you like.

Also, I don't know if this is even possible or not...but could the experience debt % be eliminated when there is zero debt? Would be a really nice feature to not see that when there's no debt. Would like to relocate it to overlay the middle of the experience bar when there's debt, but I don't want it there when there isn't any.

Yes, have tried all 3 of yours actually, but I like the layout of this one the best.

Currently with the XP bars switching automatically on what type XP you gain, my Player windows will NOT reflect this feature. It appears this feature is hardcoded into the XP Bar window. Sorry if this an inconvience to players. However, you can still manually switch your XP bars by clicking on the desinated area.
