I'm using Fetish Classic and I also have those lines.
My wife has Fetish Nightfall and those appear on hers as well.

All who are using a mod seems to have the same problem
A bouble line about 25% from the top and a single line at 75% from the top.
I have switched back and forth today between 4 different mods and they all have the problem.
It must have something to do with the new updates from EQ2.
Sorry no fixes as of 2pm Eastern time today.

Temporary fix until each person can update their UI or SOE fixes problem. Look in your Custom UI folder for the file - eq2ui_mainhud_letterboxframe.xml
Rename that file to something like - eq2ui_mainhud_letterboxframeOLD.xml
When your UI loads some windows may be out of place. The one I am using all I needed to do was go in game to EQII - Options - Display - Widescreen Letterbox and move slider to realign windows on top and bottom.

I'm not sure if its an SOE issue. I loaded the default and those bars were gone. But I will try your fix. Thanks

OK... it worked! Got rid of the bars...
This is just a quick fix till the authors do their thing.
Now Im sure there are easier ways of doing this but this is what I did:
1. Do what Pure said in his post by renaming "eq2ui_mainhud_letterboxframe.xml" to "eq2ui_mainhud_letterboxframe_old.xml"
2. Then copy the new one from the "Default" folder and paste in your current UI folder, open the new one and change the following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<Page AbsorbsInput="false" alwaysonbottom="true"
Enabled="false" GetsInput="false"
Name="LetterboxFrame" PackLocation="left,top"
PackLocationProp="0000/0001,0000/0001"
PackSize="absolute,absolute"
PackSizeProp="0000/0001,0000/0001" <----You want to change the values to -256/0001,-256/0001
Again, this is just a temp fix that worked for me and I didn't have to move windows all over the place.

I haven't tried this yet but what are you getting by doing this? The default UI I assume?

Hey Virodeath,
Yes, but if you were to keep 0000/0001,0000/0001 values by just copying the default over, it still would show the bars. Then you would have to move them manualy. I just did this to avoid all the moving of the windows.

Hi all I reduced the steps on this by just going in to my ui and changing the values of pack size prop size to -256/00001, -256/0001 I didnt rename my file or cut and paste and it runs fine. I thought of it after viewing posts from Zinn and Pure and figured I would just try going into the letterbox and changing those properties and well it worked 8) (so far hehe)

Have any of you with this trouble tried going into options and adjusting the letter box size? Looks like it would fix it. I havn't ever had this issue so I can't try it:/

Yes, you can do that and I thought of doing that as well. The main reason I suggested a quick fix of changing name was when you do that it will automatically load from Default UI folder anyway. When changing files that are from existing modded UI's it can cause more possible problems at a later date. Being alot of people here I tried a generic fix Then Zinn added onto the fix for Tyejae UI's for those that want to edit a few things, and continue to have eq2ui_mainhud_letterboxframe.xml in modded folder

I noticed those bars are the ones (or atleast in the same loc.) as the ones on the screens you see when zoning, could something just not be telling them to turn off or something?
