Woot, good news!

I'll post my new persona window in a bit.. but each day the beta has an updated default persona window file so I don't want to miss anything.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. I've always wanted to be able to zoom in on the map, and never thought of suggesting it anywhere. I'm glad others (and the devs) came up with it as well

Looking forward to the changes, and the new expansion, woohoo!

I really don't see such an improvment for the map. SOE should have put this dev time trying to give us a minimap in some corner of our screen. I think tanks trying to know where they are going in a dungeon would really appreciate it.
This map is still the less intuitive that I had to deal with in numerous MMO's.

Patience, that is not the new mapping system they talked about (and which was always scheduled to go live only after RoK). What there is now is rather a workaround to cope with the huge zones.

Have you tried the new map? You can resize the window to any size you want, you can zoom in or out, and the map automatically scrolls to follow your character therefore the functionality for a full screen map and a mini map is already available. Creating a mini map can be done by just adding one button or a plugin with the proper scripts.
