Default Love the UI! :)

Thanks for the great UI I am having a problem atm. Every time I go to inspect, or examine something I crash. I am using the latest version of the UI, download a few hours ago. I am also using the map updater UI mod, and thats it, no other UI mods. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Yeah, it's my fault.
Answered a few threads above.
Just delete the eq2ui_examine.xml in the ThorUI folder.
I better get the fix uploaded hehe...

Read the postes on page 4 its just been said what you can do, but here is what you can do now: "delete eq2ui_examine.xml from the ThorUI folder"

And as Faetyl said he will be releasing a new version soon with a fix to this

Nice idea that with the player hud, but as you can see, the text in the health bar is a little bit hard to see, and it also looks like the nummer 1 in "100" on the health bar is getting a little bit cutted off.

But i liked how it looked, just get the color thing fixed

Edit: Hmm its seems to look a little bit better on the screenshot than what it dose ingame, wierd...


Edit2: An idea, what about making the background of the health bar Red, and the background on the F1,F2 and so on, Green?
what do you think about that?


Edit3: look at the second screenshot, thinking of how the numbers are counting, its like 567/89 for me when i'am thinking of stuff like that this would be more normal for me 89/567, but thats just me :P

And remember this is some minior thing that i think should be fixed its not something that needs to be done something with, but it may help get the UI perfect? :P

Version 4.2 just uploaded so may be a few before it's released.

Lady1, try this one when it's available and let me know if you still have the same issue.
Also, i'm on messenger if you have it and the time to troubleshoot.

I've been thinking the same thing
Just haven't had a chance to do anything about it.
I've got some time before the 4.2 update is released so i'll see what I can do with these windows.

Yup do what you can do, as far as i know is this UI bug free, beside of some minior thing that usual isn't so important to get fixed or that may depend on how you look at it.
But any i'll try to report everything i can if i should cross anything more so that you maybe can look into it and see what you can do

Its always a pleasure to help
And keep updating and make this UI better, i don't know what i've should have done if this UI suddenly stoped to evolve.

Testing now, a comment about it will come soon :P

Edit: The Idea was nice, and it worked well, but i diden't quite like that the boks now became so high if you know what i mean, hmm.
I liked it to be at the same size as the group box...

But it also seems to go very well into where i just placed it right now, so i really don't know, this was hard, i think i can get used to it and i like it more.
So its up to you if you want it like that or not, its the same for me i think it works, I'am just used to that the player hud was a little bit not so high thats why i think :P

And yes my english isn't so good so let me know if you don't know what i say :P


Edit: forget all that is said here, i really love how it looks now, only thing is that the groups name is a little to near the top line, if you know what i mean(look at the 3 screenshot) so yea good work


Edit2: look at 00004 the screenshot, the compass, is it somehow possible to cut of some of the black there? i've tried to chop it down but can't go lesser than its shows on the screenshot there...

As for the compass, I could cut it down but the new long zone names would be cut off.
You can turn the black background off in window options though.

Default Still crashing-

The new equi_mainhud_player.xml file fixed most of my crash woes but its still happens when trying to examine/view link in guild chat.

Great UI btw. Ty for sharing with us.

This issue was answered 2 times a few posts up.
Just delete the examine.xml and your set.
I goofed and let it slip in the install by accident. sorry

In 4.4 everything of .xml files that fixed various of things is in right?
Haven't got the time to check the thread before now, got a kickass group in EQ2 :P and now i need to go to bed, going to test out the new version tomorrow, can't wait

Default 6th person in group

I am using v4.4

I'm digging the UI. overall it is a great.

I have an issue with one thing though. When the group is full the 6th person in the group does not show up in the window.

Maybe i missed something about this in the previous posts but I didn't see anything about this.

Hello, wanted to throw this out see if it can be done,the two emote buttons on the chat window can they be put inside eq2 button and have stop food and drink removed,instead of where it is now?

Default Unable to click on Search boxes while at the Broker

EDIT: Was using v. 4.1 for some reason. Updating to the latest v. 4.5 solved the problem.

When at the Broker, I am unable to click on the Search Box.

I tested this apparant bug by changing the UI in eq2.ini so that it did not load the ThorUI. When I did so, I was able to click on the Broker's search box and enter in a string to search for as normal.

I am loving ThorUI. Great job and thank you for the sweat and tears you must have put into this.

PLEASE, do not remove the stop food/stop drink buttons. This feature is one of things that people say they like. It is kind of a reminder to turn off the food/drink when they are tradeskilling or harvesting.

Yes had the same problem with 4.2 when i was in the group yesterday but didn't got the time to report it then.
So that problem is it fixed in 4.5?


Edit: And yes please, do not remove either the stop Food/Drink buttons or the emote buttons in the chat windows, they are allready got a nice spot and i really like the features

As you see it looks like you have forgotted the F1 in the red spot again :P

And what about having the group smaller than the player hud? for the first it may then be easier to see the diffrent between your self and the group, but thats not the real reason I'am asking for it, it because right now if the group is full i need to remove my compass but if you won't change then i think i can learn to live with it, its such a great UI this anyway so

I haven't been keeping track of which zones it happens in (even though I kinda doubt it's a zone-specific bug), but I have been noticing that sometimes the map mod that allows you to change maps doesn't work like it should. What I mean is the bar on the bottom with the dropdown menus shows up when moused over, yet the dropdown menus don't open up.

This, of course, isn't a top priority issue. But would like to see it fixed

A bug i just found, the meter of the power and the % of the power is not doing anything, moving or what i should call it...

Edit: I meant the group power, not my on, thats working
