Click on ALT + c for the clock... it should pop up there... Worked for me...

It's resizable to any rez you like. I can only test/setup to 1280, so someone else will have to do the work sorry.

So, has anyone been able to get 1440x900 going properly? Mine is useable, but I get an extra stray chat window, and the bottom information bar is gone. I would appreciate it if someone could provide a file if they got theirs to work right.

Edit: Answered my own question. To get the text displaying on the tooltips, I just deleted my UI/Profit directory and did a clean install! I should have read the directions!

First, I LOVE your UI. Far far better than what SoE gave us!

Only time I switch to another UI is for crafting. Fetich Tradeskills window lets me hit enter to start a combine and esc to stop, rather than having to click on the window buttons. Any chance you can add this functionality to the tradeskill window and help save my wrists from the evil mouse buttons?

I deleted your quickbar file because all the stuff is on the startbar I use. I also went to the mainhud.xml file and deleted the quick bar from there. Now I get a black box where the quick bar used to be. I tried /hide_window Mainhud.quickbar but its only a temp fix. Any permanent way to lose this window?

I force it open - you will have to edit the OnShow event of the eq2ui_mainhud_experience.xml file.

show_window=Mainhud.Memorized show_window=Mainhud.Memorized
show_window=Mainhud.QuickBar show_window=Mainhud.QuickBar


Memorized is the lower opaque window
Quickbar is the manastone/ring window

Outstanding UI Profit, but I am also having the harvest window issues. I've read thru this thread in hopes of fixing it, but I haven't seen anything that would help. It's not a priority, but when ya get to it, the harvest window would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for a great UI.

Is there a way to stop just the quickbar from loading? I tried just deleting the show_window=Mainhud.QuickBar show_window=Mainhud.QuickBar line but it is still there every time I log in. If I delete any more than that I start loosing the stuff I want to keep.

Hey Profit. Loving your UI but I've encounted a few problems with it.

How do I get the manastone charger to work? I can't seem to get it to work (although putting it in the first slot allows me to click the horse whistle and activate it)

Also, as you can see in my attached picture, I use two windows for chatting,but I seem to be missing something on the top line (look at the overflow from the top of the chat box on the left) What can I do to fix it?

Also, my bottom resists seem a little erm... out of synch? No clue as to what to do there either.

Please start by using the included uisettings file, this will perfectly align all the windows and also give you are dark area below - thus not needing to darken your chat windows and seeing the odd dark backgrounds.

Also, try turning Smooth fonts off - this UI was never intended to use font smoothing.

To get the clock up press ALT+C

I would also suggest using the default will enable the manastone message to reappear.

If the rings/manastone/whistle are not performing the correct command, either swap them in your inventory or edit the manastone.txt, horse.txt etc. files.

I think I may have forgot to included manastone.txt in the last update, so I've attached it here.

I swapped the uisettings into the UI folder and also to the main folder, but nothing happened. Am I supposed to put both someplace else?

smooth fonts are in your options -> User interface -> area i'm not in game atm to know where but its in one of the sub areas in there....

as for the uisettings file... (it comes in a .zip within the main folder of the profit_17c.zip labeled as 1024x768.zip or 1280x768.zip once u unzip it you must rename it.... as follows { My characters name is Geniva and i play on antonia bayle server } so it should be "Antonia Bayle_Geniva_eq2_uisettings.ini") or something similar and it goes directly into the /sony/Everquest II/ folder

in the zip is another zip called 1280x1024 - unzip this and rename the file inside.

i.e. servername_playername_eq2_uisettings.zip to:

everfrost_profit_eq2_uisettings.zip

For font smoothing go to options/user interface/game windows/font smoothing.

Is there any way I could finagle a 75% hotbar mod? Even if someone besides Profit can do it for me that'd be swell . I love the zero dead space but the 50% is too small in 1600x1200.
