Well I tried reading the messages on your image but the font is so thin the colors you chose to put chat in boxes is bleeding through making the text unreadable. At least to me. If someone else can read please decipher.
As for the health bar %'s never seen that before. Then again I usually solo maybe Landiin can look at this one.

If you get an item with a click to use effect on it you will use the mini inventory. I beleave that may be coming the next expantions if not you can bet your money its coming. I also use it to equip items after I use my unequip all( get nude) macro.

The health % has always been there just invisible. I was doing test to try to get them to work but EQ2 just refused to send the data. ( I just forgot to turn them off before I ziped up the update)

As I told you in your PM yes its possible to make them bigger with mouse over. Its just a matter of time and importance ( as in bug fixes ).

I havn't crashed to to memory access in a while at 1G or 512M( set on extreme prof ). Maybe turn off spell effects to free up some resources if you are still crashing to that error.

By 512M do you mean 512mb? Because that is exactly what I have, and I am crashing ALL the time, in fact I just crashed, and decided to check the forums before I logged back in. But I will just be standing there and I crash, I even run with graphics at very close to minimum, spell effects, shaders, and shdows off, no sound, low particle effects, etc.... I play most of the day since I am a stay at home mom, and I will crash at LEAST 4 times in 1 day.

Yes thats what I mean 512mb. And this is exacly what I need to know. If it still crashes after an update post so I know its still happening. Was beginning to think bakes had nuked him self. I'll keep digging,

Things that may help me track this down:

1. When you crash is the game buffering? ( a good sign that it is, is the hard drive is running like mad and you are video lagging )

2. Where there a lot of PC, NPC around when you crashed.

3. Video card, Ram amount, and CPU you have. ( PM me with nomber 3 if you don't want to post it on the open forum )

4. What you have for lunch. I know this has nothing to do with the UI but I am a bit hungry atm lol

Hi guys... thanks for the great UI its keeps getting better
the only problem i have is there is no longer a patron button on the guild page to set or remove patron status.
Is there a way to fix this or a keyboard command to set patron status?

Again after live update 13 there will be no such thing as a patron, so in the proccess of gettting the UI ready for the update it has been removed.

I find this to be the Best UI out there atm i like the idea of adding in a guildlogo on examined items and in loading screens, i just cant figure out how to make my own, its in a format i cant use *.dds plz i havnt done any modding yet sides a few adjustments to other peoples UI's here and there, i would like to know how to make a guildlogo.dds file of my own, then insert into the relevant *.xml files,

It's inside a folder within the UIs name folder.. here is the dir path
..\EverQuest II\UI\eXtreme\copy_and_paste_these_files_to_eq2_main_folder\

within this folder, you want to use the eq2.ini that is for the resolution you will be using. hope that helps ya.

Just an update to the board. I found out what was wrong. Instead of copying the cut and paste to the eq directory I was simply copying what was in the file and then deleting what was in my character uisettings and pasting from the file instead of copying whole file over.

For some reason this was causing me to lock up. WHY I dont know but I tested it on multiple characters and thats what was doing it.

Might want to put that message in big red letters on the ui instructions to NOT simply paste from character ui settings into their existing file.

Oh' yea thats not a good idea as the .ini file is so picky as it is.

Ok i guess I am just plain stupid or something...I jsut cant get this Ui to work...i love it though...I am currently using the Profit one and it has its percs so I wa wondering if you could please email me a complete step by step of how to set this one up...I have downloaded it ...NOW what do i do with it please Eamil me at [email protected] PLEASE...I REALLY WANT TO USE THIS UI it is the sickest thig i have ever seen

Ya im new to using a custom UI and well i cant figure out how to get it to even work... I extracted all the files to my
C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI

then i copy and pasted the folder that said copy and paste to the main eq2 folder C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II

But it didnt work and with your instructions im not sure what you mean by this...

Copy the eq2ui_settings.ini and eq2ui.ini file that fits closes to the rez you use

Any help would be greatly appreaciated

Hi,

then i copy and pasted the folder that said copy and paste to the main eq2 folder C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II

You dont copy and paste the whole folder. You select the 2 files that are for the res that you use. The rename them.

for example i use
(1200 x XXXX)eq2.ini
(1280 x XXXx )server_character_eq2_uisettings.ini

The first file is simple just rename to eq2.ini
As for the second file you put your server name and character name in like this.
unrest_giger_eq2_uisettings.ini

And paste them into the C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II folder

ok Landiin, but my point is that if you have conc 5/5, you cant take to 4/5 or 3.5 like you used to, and so as I keep leveling up, I keep getting better spells that uses conc, and the only way for me to ise them is by dieing....

If you cancel the spell in the maintained or effects window that is using one or more of you con slots it will free up slots for you to use. This is the games programing not a ui function. I have no controle over the game, that number only reflect what the game tells it. It is the same as the bar was but its simply displaying numbers and not a bar.

Exp.
I start the day with 0/5 concentration.
I cast a def stance. ( requires 3 con slots )
The number now shows 3/5.
If i want to use another CA that needs 3 or more con slots, I have to cancel my def stance. Witch inturn makes the read out show 0/5, then I cast the CA I wanted and it back to 3/5.

First like to say the UI is well made but I have one concern I dont see a power meter/bar anywhere on the UI besides in the Personal window, I dont knwo how much this affects others but as a Mystic knowing my curent power lvl's is a must. Maybe in the 1280/1024 instead of haveing the Hth under the Mit and next to the Weigh, that could be changed to the persons power?

There's a power bar on the Name window (I wish there was a standard name for all these things, heh). It has your name and health bar on it, and in the 1280 interface, starts off near the lower right corner.

There's a sort of bug that prevents the power bar from showing up at this resolution. If you don't see the power bar and you cannot move that window, go into the options panel and click on the User Interface button, then open the Game Windows screen. Down a little ways is a setting that says "Hide window frames in letterbox area". Make sure this is unchecked.

This will both free up that window so that it can be moved around, and also display the power bar.
