Any chance of a screenshot showing the new goodies that has been added since the time of the shots in the download area? With gm9 missing in action I'm starting to think I need a backup UI before long and so far Vert would definately be my choice.

I'm actually totally impressed that this UI has survived for sooo long. I used it in EQ1 waay back when.

It actually has not changed much at all since the pictures that are there, which is why there's been no new ones.. I've asked a few times what people would like to see added feature wise but either got no response, or the ones I did get were added so it's just been basically trimming down the windows as sony releases them and keeping it looking neat and tidy compared to the default one.... not to say new features won't get added, but people have to want them before i work on them.

just noticed something. not sure if its a UI issue or not.

I have a hotkey default setting changed. I have my 'tab' button mapped to my scroll wheel on my mouse. and I have the auto-run button changed to '0'.

anytime I click on "options' to change any other setting..it reverts the changes I have made back to the default settings.

is there a way I can fix this? or is it related to the UI?

There is a another way to do it with a marco to pull up the window, but that still requires you click on the macro once in EQ2. I'm at work atm, so I'll edit this post with the line to put into the macro once I get home.

EDIT
here's the Macro text. not sure if it will work for you or not, but works like a charm for me, then again I am adding in mods on top of this UI.
/show_window mainhud.inventory

*slips in quietly, dropping off the LU34 version, tho does not guarantee or promise anything works since it's all done based on the compares instead of actual patch.*

Default 3.7

Should be LU35 compatable, as always... any problems let me know, untested in the actual game world so i'm sure there will be 1 or 2...

thanks for the continued hard work. I found a few small things:

1.) The scroll in the /claim window doesn't show & even clicking in the area doesn't seem to work. (have to revert to default UI to use the claim window, even removing the claim XML file doesn't fix this)

2.) Other UI's do not show in the loadui screen (thankfully there is a Load Default button for getting back to default for #1).

Do keep in mind that other windows with Scroll, like the Recipes window work fine, so I'm thinking its not an issue with the entire ScrollbarStyles file, probably just the parts interfacing with the two windows above.

Fixed 1 (and found it also worked in added on mods) by looking at the scrollbar section of the file in the Tradeskill window, and noticed the ones that did work had a different style within the brackets for the scrollbar:

Style="/ScrollStyles.default_vscroll"

yeah the hscroll used there was something done to keep scroll bars hidden but usable but dosn't seem to work right. changing it to vscroll makes it the real scroll bar.

To fix the loadui just copy eq2ui_ccgenerallist_template.xml file from default into vert, it'll be included in future versions... not sure when the next one will be as i'm thinking of adding things, but without being able to test them i'm being cautious (adding click item name's / quests to search them on eq2i, clicking player names to search them on eq2players, clicking guild names to search them... and possibly click to cure tho trying to find a way to do it without attempting several spells like the current ones do... tho since the great UI modders who know a heck of a lot more then I do are using the multiple spells it may be the only thing i can do..)

Just like the update for LU35, if people want the LU36 compatable vert i'll need someone to send me eq2ui_inventory_dressingroom.xml from the default UI.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Oh right, I hadn't even noticed that new files are only listed, not visible on the compare. Sorry about that. See attached.

3.8.1 is now up, it's been tested ingame and verified to be working....

Websearches with EQ2i and EQ2players are in place... click on an active quest name to search eq2i for it. click an item name in the examine window to search for it... player names in the inspect window, and clicking your guild name in the guild window will also perform searches.

Recently (just today, actually), I received an error when trying to open my mailbox. I zipped up the current default UI and uploaded it to my web server for you. You can find it here. Let me know if you need anything else and thank you for your work on this great UI!
