Tradeskill Repeat Box?
Hello. I'm looking for a new UI that has a feature that will allow me to check a box to auto repeat or even some advanced option of entering the number of items I'd like to make. I have yet to download your UI but did not see any mention of this feature. DeadBeats (no longer supported) used to have this feature allowing me to bypass those steps of hitting enter or clicking repeat/create buttons. It may not seem like a big deal but when you are filling large orders as a tradeskiller it is something of an annoyance. Thanks for reading.

Hello,
Currently there's no features for setting an amount of "auto-repeats" or any "auto-repeat" option. I can look into it, but it seems like it could be a not-so-great way of accidentally wasting some components.
However, if you hide the recipe list while crafting, you can simply hit enter repeat the process, and it also skips the "components" window going straight back to the creation process. When the recipe list is hidden, the tradeskill hotkeys will remain in focus.
I know it still requires interaction, but I don't plan on adding anything automation-wise to the tradeskill window currently. The window is already very annoying to work with and a lot of hardcoded parts make it worse!
I'll keep it in consideration though while making any updates to the window in the future.

Hmmmm not seeing a currency tab on my character window. Is there a hot key to get it up? An Update needed?

You might also be aware of, i think TalTal's GU58 patch for Profit has a way to get around the recent "fix" SOE did to re-force their welcome screen on us. I've had to modify his patch for use in your UI. Hopefully you'll find a way of your own to do this. For now i've had to modify the experience window to implement his code. So if i auto update i gotta tell it to not include that file.

Todays Update 1.5
I beleive there might be a glitch in todays 1.5 update with the maintained window. On two machines it was showing a row or two of the dummy icons it shows while loading even after the character was in.. trailing along behind the normal buffs that should be there. I replaced it with the maintained file from 1.4 and it seems to be working properly now.
Otherwise, its working like champ. I love the work you have done. This is by far the best balance of features, customization, and streamlining available today. Thanks for all your efforts.

1. Doh! Yes, that's my bad as I moved them from the bottom to the top (figured it would be easier to have all the buttons in one location rather than spread out) Will fix that with tomorrow's update.
2. Great idea. I'll have the "hover" try to list the current selection in the tool tip. And clicking it would work as normal

That aside, this UI has been working very well so far. Love the editable cure/macro buttons, and the map icons are nice too. Much easier to sort out, least for me. =)

I'll check this out. It sounds like an overlap and should be solvable by just reposition the effects element. Fixed in tomorrow's release. Glad you like the UI

Blueberries - 5c
Blueberries - 7s
and that's great. The problem is if the items being displayed are crafted, then it is sorting by name, then crafter (or some other reference), and then price. It makes it appear as if it is not sorted by price because you'll see:
Apples - 5c (assuming it is sorted by crafter: crafter a)
Apples - 6c (crafter a)
Apples - 1s 5c (crafter a)
Apples - 5c (crafter b)
Apples - 1s (crafter b)

No clue why sorting is acting weird. I haven't messed with the sorting buttons, and all the results are sent from the server. So it is most likely something out of my control. Try seeing what default UI results give you.

There were no code changes in the maintained XML (or effects XML) files since last udpate, so I'm not sure why that was happening. Did you use /loadui by any chance?
I'll double check for clarity.
Cheers all.

Ok a few things to suggest/report.
First, I think it'd be nice to have different effect/detrimentals alignments, I replaced yours by another myself because I didn't like how it was ordered. Specifically a top left to bottom right would be good, but just saying not a big issue.
Now my problem is with the group stuff. When I'm not in a group, if I hover on the group window, I still get the cure config and the quick cast buttons popping up on the "first member". I'd like to hide these when not grouped. Might not be an issue when you have your group window on a side, but being a healer yet liking to keep an eye on the action, I have my group window very close to the center of my screen, it's annoying when soloing though.
Another thing about the cures, I'm wondering if it'd be possible to simply have one button(preferably a big one) to cure people instead of having to click on the particular cure. Again as a healer, I don't really care if someone has noxious or elemental or whatever, I just cure everything, so I'd rather not have to click in different places when curing and just press cure on a big button.
Finally, an option to have your own healthbar in the group member window would be good. Again, because as a healer it's easier to see your own health if it's with the others than if it's somewhere different. Obviously you can move your personnal bar close to the group but it doesn't mesh very well with all the additional stuff.
I'm just commenting on my feelings about the UI though, I don't really expect these to go live soonish/ever, I'm gonna edit the files myself, but I felt some people might like those ideas too.

For the effects window and sorting options, we'll see. I might just make it an in-game editable option, as it should be possible.
The hover buttons showing with no group/raid members should be fixed soon. I noticed it recently as well.
Having your own health in the group window is also something I would like to implement, but it would limit the window to being horizontal or vertical in one line only (group members are automatically placed on window size, and adding a group member of yourself wouldn't be automatically taken into account with the hard coding)
As for the cure, I would have to do something like a 2x2 block, as just putting the detrimental icons on top of each other wouldn't be a good idea, as there are a lot of uncurable detriments that would cover up curable ones (it would be hard to tell if people had debuffs or not). So I think the a mini 2 by 2 icon box the same size of the current icons might work out.
Thanks for the feedback!

About the cure, I wasn't specifically thinking of a one icon button that would display detrimental, I'd leave the current detrimental indicators to see what and how many debuffs people have, but on the side of the health bar, about 12x12(or something like that forgot what the healthbar+power bar is in size, but it's around 10-12), and that'd be the button you press to cure that person. Maybe only display it if you're a healer(or toggle in options), but I find somewhat annoying that I have to click on such small icons that all around my group window while trying to keep an eye on healthbars/positionning, when I could more easily press the big button when something lights up. I'm on the way of making one myself, but not knowing anything about coding, it's mostly copy paste and code editing, which ends up being pretty ugly usually(but works fine). Already frankensteined the other suggestion out of your code ^^.
But thanks for the quick answers and great job on the UI, it's really quite useful. I cry a little on the inside everytime I think about how I could custom my UI in wow when I play lotro or EQ2, so this is like a benediction.

Screen Shots
I really don't know much about mods but when I was told about this one I went crazy with excitement. It makes the game much more playable. I was wondering, however, why my F10 button was no longer working in game. I am big on screen shots because of my guild and am unable to remove hotbars and such. Is this caused by the mod or is there an easy fix I just don't know about?

This mod should have no affect on windows being able to be hidden. Check your keybinds possibly, but nonetheless this mod doesn't change any of the keys

I re-did the raid window using the updated default UI raid window. Didn't realize how much smaller they had made the default.
Anyhow, the updated DrumsUI raid window is 13 pixels less wide and 74 pixels less tall (almost a full group less tall).
I'll probably push this to the Updater this evening, and update the manual download (with the other changes I've done) late tonight, or tomorrow.
Cheers.

Used Profit but love this UI
Very nicely done. Two things I miss are the AFK click on the Player window and quick zone status access. But I absolutely love everything else about it. (I do use the RickF7666 persona window, it is the bomb!)

Are you installing the normal Full Version, or are you trying to run the Auto-Updater?
If you're having trouble installing the UI yourself, the Updater version might assist you with that:

It usually helps giving a detailed description of what you see, what you expect to see, etc.
From what you say, I'd say you're not seeing the UI actualling being used in-game. This happens when you don't modify the UI path in eq2.ini. If you open this file with a text editor (notepad works), one of the first 2-3 lines should be:
Code:
cl_ui_skinname DrumsUI
You need to change the one that says cl_ui_skinname to what you see above. The auto-updater does this for you I think.

New release: Version 1.11
Update Log:
v1.10 - 2010.05.03
- Update: Target/Implied windows have been updated with a style closer matching the player/group windows. (con_version1 should *hopefully* no longer occasionally cut off part of the target window)
- Update: The battlegrounds icon gem in the topright corner of the player window has been made slightly smaller.
- Fix: The storyline tab in the Journal window should no longer be displaying placeholder/incorrect text.
Before updating, save your /POI/drumsui_textsettings.xml to backup your Quick Button settings!
(If you had any saved from 1.10 or previous)
Be sure to check out the DrumsUI Updater. The updater automatically ignores the drumsui_textsettings.xml file if you already have it, so you don't have to worry about overwriting important saved buttons
-------------------------------------------
I'm looking for feedback on both the update on the Target/Implied windows new look, and if anyone still is experiencing the problem where the Target window gets part way cut off in con_version1.

Getting some odd coloring happening to the Implied targer's HP percentage number:
It will randomly turn dark (which I assume is the hp background color?), and I'll be able to fix it 99% of the time by de-targeting and re-targeting.
Also, was wondering if I go ahead and slap a "UserResizable="true"" tag into the target/implied would I be able to change the width of the frames in game or would I have to edit the frames to be wider via the xml files?
Thank you soooo much for matching the frames - con changing seems to be working perfectly as well, no size changes.
