Request:

-Run App. tab doesn't close on exit

-When excluding files, and updating is done it probably shouldn't say "Ready", it should say "Skipped by user"

All in all it seems to be fully functioning!

Right, sorry, got lazy in testing. In the last build I tested it stayed incorrect.

I've never encoded it before, but from what I read it has to be encoded in order to use in a spells name.

Wounder if Adin''s super nuke would work. Or maybe esapeing it; Adin\'s super nude. Will go do some testing.

hahaha. landiin.... check image 1.

and heres a mockup of a smaller version of the eq2 logo (image 2), I just wanna add a C which is hard and make it an icon.

Yeah well all I did was take the EQ2 logo and make it smalle and remove the other letters. I'm not great at photoshop so I tried making that stupid C but no use

that's why I linked the logo I made, I think I got the EQ2 style quite right there, and our guild name begins with a C.

Image needs to be square also. But I've put in it till someone comes up with something better

Logo wise I was thinking of something like the EQ1 Wizards familiar (but better graphics) and the EQ2C letters. Thin again I am no where near artistically inclined.

Default Build 1.12

Build 1.12 Change log;
  • New Settings window.
  • Fixed an issue where it could not update a UI because it was in use by EQ2 Companion.
  • Stopped encoding ' for the spell1 and spell2 properties in the C2C. It is still encoded in the script part as the parser does not encode/decode node values.
  • Added the Icon Drago and gm9 came up with.
  • Fixed an issue where it was trying to install a UI into the wrong place if it had a directory in the zip and not the UI directory.

Hmm didn't see this till just now. What do you mean by The Run App. Tab don't close on exit? It says open while the rest of the APP is closed?

No the icon is in, he used it for when you have started the app, you see it in the upper left corner. But he probably meant to package it as the files' standard icon instead.

I like the new settings window WAY more than the old one!!!! I wanted to say there was something wrong with the old one, but I didn't know how to put it in words.

Oh, is EQ2C hopefully going to go live with RoK?

I need to test the file Quick char switch creates. and make sure it is compatible with the game. I know it isn't with the current UIbuilder but haven't tested in game yet. Once the changes we talked about goes live then I will not have any concerns. May just disable that module till the changes go live.

@#$$#% Need a new name for EQ2 Companion. I was just informed of another application named EQ Companion. I do not want people to get them confused with each other, so guessing I should rename my app being that one seems to have been around for a while.

hehee. How about naming it the EQ2 Collective or EQ2 Cubus, that way you could keep the logo. The EQ2 Interface Borg sounds also good.

Yes it is Passworded till I get an A-OK from my beta testers.

Whats new..

Nothing really, Just renamed, merged and cleaned up some source files, some tweaks here and there nothing major.

Delete every thing EQ2 Companion and try this one fresh. Try every thing as if you have never seen the application.

It's quite possible I've missed some bugs you have reported so check over what you have found and make sure I didn't over look them. I am good at over looking things, just ask my wife:P

Should I make a installer/uninstaller? The only thing I can think you would need that for is if you wanted to quit using it and have it delete it's foot print and junk. /shrug

At any rate here is the file.
