Default Auto Attack Bar help

I use the default UI and EQ2Maps but have been having real trouble adding an auto attack bar I'd like to have as part of my UI.

EQ2Maps and the updater are working fine, but I have tried and failed repeatedly to load an AA bar. I downloaded "eq2ui_custom_dragowulfui_autoattacktimer" and followed the advice given on this board to Kylae back in July of 2011. I must be missing something, though, because I can't get the thing to work.

I even went so far as to uninstall and re-install EQ2 and the EQ2Maps Updater just to be sure there wasn't some glitch in them.

My eq2.ini reads:

cl_ui_skinname EQ2MAP
cl_ui_subdir UI/

And my EQ2MAP folder contains:

the eq2map2 folder
the images folder
the POI folder
eq2ui_custom_dragowulfui_autoattacktimer.xml
eq2ui_mainhud_map2.xml
eq2ui_popup_add_poi.xml

I even tried adding an "<include>eq2ui_custom_dragowulfui_autoattacktimer.xml</include>"
line to the ini file, but nothing seems to work.

I checked out the general "How to Install" advice, but it seems more directed to people who are using or who want a full custom UI like Fetish or Profit and not so much to people who just want to add one or two little features to the default UI.

I'm not a terrific computer person, so I would very much appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Default

The includes do not go in your eq2.ini file, they have to go in the UI's xml files.

In this case, it should go in eq2ui_custom.xml. It's odd that it would not include that file for you however, or at least not include the instructions to add that line to eq2ui_custom.xml.

Thumbs Up It worked!

Thank you SO much, lordebon.

I went back, discovered instructions I had misunderstood, and, per your instructions, added the <include> line into my eq2ui_custom.xml file. It worked! I am in your debt!
