Crash to desktop.
Game keeps crashing to desktop. Log in fine as soon as it leaves the loading screen and switches to the game proper I get an Unknown Error.

Downloaded my UI off the site, it works fine for me. Try deleting the eq2ui_fonts.xml file and do not install with any other UIs at the moment, especially not something like Fetish.
Let me know if that fixes it so I can narrow it down.

I love this idea.
As a minimalist, I would love to see a version (a patch download perhaps) that hides the scrollbar when titles aren't visible (or does away with it altogether - many of us just use the mouse scroll) and also hides all of your buttons/chat line when the frame isn't?
The second request is important for people who run with more than one chat window open at a time, but only talk in one of them.

Since I was the first one to put the hide-a-scroll in a chatbox (/glare Fetish ) I'll tell you how its done (for me)
OnHoverIn="Opacity=(1.0)"
OnHoverOut="Opactiy=(0.0)"
What this does is make it so that the scrollbar is Only visible when you hover in the scroll bar area. You can also set it up so that the scrollbar shows when you hover over the entire chat area, but i find that a nuisance.
I would suggest taking a look at Oeric's MookChat with Hide-a-scroll for both the vanishing scrollbar and the commands for hiding/showing the chat input area.

When using the quick quotes (where it has the list on the right and you click them for the different categories), when you click on a category, it brings up the list. However, when you want to choose a different category, the lists overwrite each other (Making it impossible to read what they are). You can push escape and start over, but this is a minor annoyance. Hope you can fix this.
I'll get a screenshot for you today if you wish.

Does anyone know the property for this? I know about "framecontrol" and "backdropcontrol", is there a "titlecontrol"?

I don't believe there's a Titlecontrol property, but it's easy enough to do with OnShow and OnHide scripts in the titlebar.

I know how to get around this, but its rather difficult to explain. Also, I havent DLed your mod as of yet to test it either.
lets call the parent window "window", and the sub windows "window_A" etc.
the buttons for each corresponding window are Button_A etc
button_A.onpress=(window_A.visible=true) (window_B.visble=false) etc ...
button_B.onpress=(window_A.visible=false) (window_B.visible=true) etc..
and if you want to be safe:
window_A.onShow=(window_B.visible=false)
window_B.onshow=(window_A.visible=false)
etc etc

If you wish to include with other UI's and not have it crash then you must edit the Eq2ui.xml file and add
Code:
<include>yourfiename.xml</include>
anywhere before </Page>
and it should run fine
but if you are using eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml for the filename then you probably do have a problem with the code

Don't know whether this is possible or worthit. But could u just have the individual chat channels expanded all the time. I'm constantly doing mistells between guild, group, say etc....I hate the drop down to change bubbles and don't always use the /gu to type in guild than turn around and /g to talk to the group. Just a thought.

I'm not certain whether or not you're still supporting this however I was curious about the font file included. It appears as if it stops hover text, such as for powers in the hotbar, from displaying. I deleted the font file and the hover text came back.
Is it ok to exclude the font file for long periods of time or is it necessary in order for the mod to not cause problems down the road?
Also, is there any fix for the overlapping text in the quickchat boxes as mentioned earlier in this thread?
Thanks.

Well I tried this mod without the font file included and the game crashed several times over a rather short period of time. These were the first crashes that I've experienced since having installed the game over 2 months ago. Considering that and the fact that I hadn't installed any other mod I have to believe that the font file is required in order for this mod to run correctly. Either that or there's another problem related to the mod that would cause the crashes.
Any further insight into this matter would be highly appreciated, as I love the idea of what this mod attempts to accomplish.
Thanks.

Good idea on having the tabs located near the chat input area!

Top portion of window cut off
Thanks for a great mod! The problem I am having seems to be the same as dhunter2. A small section of the top prtion of the window is cut off. I have no tabs on top nor the scroll up button. I am not a programmer or anything like that and just want to give you a heads up that I'm clueless when it comes to things like trying to modify it but any help you could give me with this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

=)
It would be cool if you could make an options to hide the bottom buttons and stuff for ppl that have more than one chat box on their screen.
