InGame- Unable to search fragmented filters

EQ2maps can't seem to find anything if it's not a whole word in the search box.
Say for example you search 'Ring' in great divide, that's fine, I get the ring war and coldain ring results; if you search 'Rin' I get nothing, I should be getting all the same 'ring' searches as before since they contain the same initial letters.
Another example, if I search 'rock', it's completely separate from when I search 'rocks'.
It worked fine before I had to reload everything from XP to Win7, so not sure what has changed, the files are the same.
