Add filter to quest/journal window, recipe window

This may be waaay too enterprising but I thought I'd throw it out there. You know the window for visiting someone's house? The best feature about it is the Filter box, which allows you to type in a couple of letters and the results are filtered by what you type. is there any way to do the same with, say the quest/journal window? In other words, make it searchable by, say, creature name or item needed? This would also be an EXCELLENT feature for the recipe window. Is it possible?
