To ProfitUI or Not To ProfitUI

I am in the process of leaving WoW and getting into EQ2....

I would like to use ProfitUI. It seems like it has everything in one, nice auto-updating package However, it seems it will not be continued by the current author.

So, my question is this: Do you think it will be updated and continued by someone else and it is worth installing and configuring? Are the chances good that ProfitUI will coninue to live?
