Default UI - fixing item counts on hotbar buttons

Greetings,

I find it slightly annoying that when you drag a stack of potions from your
bag to your hotbar the count displayed also includes potions of the same
type that are in your bank and / or shared bank.

I loaded up a copy of the default UI in the UIBuilder to see if I could affect
changes to the hotbars (I don't currently use hotbar mods) but couldn't
find any indication where the hotbar pulls the data for count overlays.

If anyone has any ideas, it would be appreciated. I'd like the count to only
display what I have in my immediate bags.
