pet unhide bug?

Greetings all... I am not sure if this is a ui issue, or just something stoopid that I did (more likely the latter)...

I have a pally... I cast his silly squire pet. I noticed when you click on him a window comes up. I wanted to give him a name. well, I must have clicked the pet hide check box on that window because now he is gone. I canceled him and recast, no show...

I logged out and in, no show. I shut down and restarted, no show.

I tried /pet unhide (figuring it would be the opposite of /pet hide)... no show.

the functionality of the squire pet seems to be different than a deity pet. when you click on the pet hide button from the start button bar, when you recast, the pet is again viewable (unless the new window where you can name the pet stays active somewhere).

Any ideas?
