EQ2MAP is not working

Hello, I have installed Everquest 2 for de DVD's and then bought the 3 expansions, so including the Faywder one through digital download. I installed first the eq2map autoupdater and find that ingame when i press m, there is no trace of eq2map. I then uninstalled that and installed the manual one, same thing... what am i doing wrong? The eq2.ini file has the correct 2 lines.
