Can u use both EQ2Map, and a UI

I been looking all over and cant seem to find a thread on this, so hopefully no one gets angry because i'm asking but I spent a few hours here looking....

I downloaded EQ2Map, installed per your directions, works great... TY
I downloaded a UI, installed per the directions, works great also.... TY

Now the problem, I can use one or the other, but not both at the same time. Is this how this is, I need to choose the map or the UI, or is there a way to integrate them both and have them both working at the same time?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
