Live patch #5 and Bloodline Chronicles

Today the changes that have been on the test server for the past week have been pushed to live. This brings many interface changes as well as many new features.


Features

• The Bloodline Chronicles has arrived!
• All EverQuest II subscribers now get two additional character slots!
• Stay in touch with your friends with our in-game mail system!
• Share house rent among multiple characters and pay rent in advance!
• Crafters can use new recipes to make enchanted weapons, armor, and items!
• Evaluate the potency of weapons easily with the new Damage Rating!
• Understand your defenses better with separate Avoidance and Mitigation ratings!
• See the level of quests when they're offered to you or listed in your journal!
• New level 50 heroic zone: Return to Nektropos!

3.21.05 Compare Info.

If you can not use or access the mail system please add the following lines anywhere between the <Page....> includes </page> tags in the eq2ui_mainhud.xml file located in your custom ui folder. (Just open the file in notepad or any text editor.)

<include>eq2ui_mainhud_openedmail.xml</include>

People with trouble typeing in the market windows and other various windows need to delete their custom eq2ui_fonts.xml until the author updates that file for them.

Those that have copied the entire default folder into their custom folder will have major problems. If you did this you will need to delete your current custom interface and re-download it then install it using the directions in our FAQ. Never copy the contents of the default folder in to your custom folder.
