Default Alt management addon

Hi,

I was just wondering whether anything similar to the altaholic wow addon had been developed for eq2. It would be wonderful to be able to see what I had in the bank and inventory on other characters without having to log each of them in. It would also be great to see what spell levels, tradeskill books or armor/weapons they have so you could determine whether you needed to send something to them.

Does anything like this exist?

Thanks

The current setup of any of your toons is available in EQ2Players. However, that is pretty limited. It will show you stats and current inventory equipped.

You don't get to see spells or anything else you might be carrying. It is decent for spot checks on what needs upgrading in your equipment but that is about it.

As for bank/bag items, I don't know of anything that could poll and show the data for that. Since it is not stored offline and server data is not pushing it unless you are on that toon, it would seem unlikely that it can be done.

Maybe a whiz programmer could develop something to create an offline stores/sync of that stuff for each time you login. Since the data is populating composites and such, it is not readily available to be copied off from inside the interface. Someone would have to develop a kind of parser for the server data and eaves drop on the stream to pull that off.

So in short, there is nothing out there doing it today. (if I am wrong, pleeeasse clue me in, too!)

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

I remember in EQ1 Magelo would export the contents of your bank, bags, gear etc to .txt files, it made keep track of things so much easier.

Is there any way to do this with EQ2? Keeping track of stuff on alts is so much work, I spend too much time just logging them on to see if they gave what i am looking for, would be much better to have a list exported somehow lie Magelo did.

I don't care about seeing it while in game on other toons, just having a .txt file or something similar to reference is enough for me,
