Hotbar Mod - Ability Cooldown notifications

I was wondering if it was possible to slightly alter the way the EQ2 hotbars show cooldowns of abilities. Being an assassin, I have alot of abilities that require being in stealth, behind a target, etc. When not in the correct situation for these skills they are darkened, exactly as they are when on cooldown.

As you can see it makes it difficult to quickly determine which skills I have still on cooldown. I was wondering if it were possible to display numerical cooldowns on top of the icons, or any other way to distinguish a cooldown clearly.

Being so new to the game however, I might have missed an option or an existing mod that changes this :P

Unfortunetly cool down timers are not available to UI modders. This info is currently embedded in the tooltip for each icon and can can't be effectively extracted.
