memorized abilities

How do i get RID Of this MEMORIZED ABILITIES window?
every time i load up, the dang thing is there.. and i NEVER Use it; don't have a clue what it's good for... other than an annoyance ... is there some specific window that controls it that i can just delete ? is there really any NEED for this thing ?
