Most people I see tossing out parses use ACT (Advanced Combat Tracker).
This program tracks wards as heals (SOE put in specific wording for wards just so that parser programs could be updated to count the damage done as healing).
In fact, when on raids, most of the time the one shaman shows up as 40% or more of the healing on the parse. Unless people get a chance to heal others, the wards tend to cock-block the rest of heals.
Damage eats through the WHOLE ward first, then sets off the reactives, then leaves something behind for the regen. Druids can lay down some massive healing on the parse and compete, simply because they toss out so much group healing (or maybe my wife plays her warden better than those other lazy healers)... but if it's just the MT, then the shaman is usually top.
ACT should show that for you in it's parse.
