Star showing if mob gives AA or not

Hello

I was playing with my friend the other day, and we were killing away in Fens. He asked me " do you see a little white star at the top of the mobs name" ?
- "no I dont" .
My friend also have EQ2 Map...and I have it but via Profit UI...what have I missed when I dont have this little marker for AA that he talks about. He doesnt have Profit btw.

He has another target window than the one in ProfitUI..
They are stand alones only I think..
Atleast they are not in Profit just yet..

Even assuming your UI has that feature...

Bear in mind if you have already received AA for it you will not see the star.

I had not gotten the AA for the mobs we met...he is using the normal UI that comes with Eq2.

I thought the star shows for one's you have already killed, kinda like a check mark.

I could be wrong, but I thought it only showed up for once you have not yet gotten AA from (ie either have not killed, or have only killed while at the AA cap). Sort of an indicator that "If you kill me, I can give you AA!"
