Wow Ui
Hi I downloaded some UI to make the EQ2 Ui look more like WOW as that is the game i'm used to, and also i preferr te design to the cold hard edges of EQ.
Is there anybody who could develop a UI with a WOW feel or something a bit softer??
Some of the important things I am looking for and don't know if they are possible are:
1.Co-Ords mod that lets me see all the time what co-ordinates I am at.
2.A minimap, if poss a round one but not really fused.
3.A quest helper so i can track more than one qest at a time on my screen.
4.An all in one inventory that changes size when you get new bags.
Don't know if this has been done or if it could be.
But it would add for me personally a extra dimension to a uber game that I wish i'd come to years ago.
thanks all.

the search function is at the top, but to cut this short: 1. many choices, 2. EQ2MAP, 3. not possible, 4. not possible.

Yep.
1) FetishNightfall isn't "WoW-y" but it does have a built in /loc display on the clock window.
2) EQ2MAP gives you an excellent map that can be resized to your liking. Maps in EQ2 are square not round though... I never got why you would want a round map when the zones are, for the most part, rectangular-ish.
3) Not possible -- the quest helper in EQ2 can only display one quest at a time
4) Not possible, but there is a hotkey to open all your bags, and if you arrange them together you sort-of get a huge combined inventory.

Won't Othesus Active Quest Helper 'sorta' do what he wants? Granted, it won't exactly do the same thing as the WoW add-on he has in mind do (the screenshot for it shows a list of active quests and their progresses on the right side), but it'll probably be the closest he can get to it.

possible, but since even the default UI already has that functionality I assumed he is looking for something else
(edit: actually I think in the default UI you have to activate the dropdown first so you see it, memory is hazy, but the rest of the functionality is there and active by default)

I think they're looking for something like what Vanguard has -- something that shows the progress of multiple quests simultaneously. Ie:
Quest Aaaaaaa
*Punt ten gnomes (x/10)
Quest Bbbbbbb
*Toss five dwarves (x/5)
Which is not possible in EQ2, at least that I know of.

No longer possible since GU27, at least not if you want them to be transparent. You could of course simply put a vignette type graphic on top of them to cover the edges.
