My chat freezes when I join a group

Using 1920x1200, when I join a group I can't tab through the different chat tabs, I cant go to ooc/guild/chat/tell/Char/NPC tabs and can only go to game/combat/spell tabs

Is this known or anyway to fix it?

ah, sounds like the group window sits too low in that preset. Press F10 to see the group window, unlock and disable clickthrough and move it higher until it clears your chat window (alternatively shrink your chat window).
