Bottom bar and start button fun
This is something that has been happening to me for awhile and is still happening after I updated to 4.1. When I log in the bottom bar is not visible and the start button is also gone. To fix it I Alt-x to get the start button back and then Alt-Tab to get the bottom bar visible. Any tips to make them stay up. Its not a major issue as I know how to correct it but it would be nice to not have to do it. Thanks again for your help.

Sounds like a corrupt uisettings.ini I think.

Is there a way to rebuild them without starting from scratch? I have spent soooooo much time tweakin it. If not I'll just live with the toggle lol. =)

Depends on what is broken really. The safe way is usually to delete them and load a working set from an alt if you have one. You can also just remove the settings for individual windows using Landiin's UIsettingsSpy tool available on this site.
