Unhappy EQ2MAP Auto Updater V 1.0.6 error message

Every time I load the Auto Updater I recieved the following error:

Error Getting File List: System
at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.CheckFinalStatus()
at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult asyncResult)
at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()
at System.Xml.XmlDownloadManager.GetNonFileStream(Uri uri, ICredentials credentials)
at System.Xml.XmlDownloadManager.GetStream(Uri uri, ICredentials credentials)
at System.Xml.XmlUrlResolver.GetEntity(Uri absoluteUri, String role, Type ofObjectToReturn)
at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.CreateScanner()
at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.Init()
at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.Read()
at System.Xml.XmlReader.MoveToContent()
at System.Data.DataSet.ReadXml(XmlReader reader, Boolean denyResolving)
at System.Data.DataSet.ReadXml(String fileName)
at WindowsApplication7.Form1.DownloadExtras()The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.

Please someone give me some help here. I have deleted and installed .NET 1.1 on several occasions and it does not seem to have an affect. I am running Zone Alarm Pro Firewall but I have the program granted access to internet.

Try disabling ZA completely. Also, do you have a virus scanner or anything like that running? They can cut the connection to EQ2MAPs as some may detect it as being 'viruslike'

Default Same error message

I have turned off my firewall and it still will not even update anything. All I get is the information that I listed in the first post. This is really frustrating since I work better with hardware than software. If anyone else has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

Default Taco-man read the common problems still not working

Taco-man,

I have read through your common problems. I have tried to make the autoupdater work while I had the firewall turned off. I still get the same problem. My friend seems to think now it is my UI problem since I downloaded and use ProfitRebornUI. I have allowed each version of .NET that I know of. Would you happen to know which files I need to authorize so I can use your maps?
