Default Help with downloading eq2 Map and UI piece

I am by no means very good with computers, and need some fairly simple help I am sure. I have eq2 map dowloaded, and I wanted to simply download smaller hotbars for my UI. However, I get a uni file message when I attempt to download the hotbars. I attempted to manually type them into the same file but managed to delete all my maps when doing that and still dont have the hotbars working. Can someone please post easy step by step directions on how to add the UI hotbar file with eq2 map already downloaded? I'd keep trying, but could easily manage to wipe out something much worse than the maps so I'd rather get some help if possible :P Thanks in advance for any help!

Ah, I guess that was not well worded. The directions state to save the UI files as eq2.ini, but I get a window that says that file already exists, as it is a part of the eq2map I have downloaded. Therefore, I am not really sure how I am supposed to be saving the UI file for the hotbars.

When you download the UI code and put it in the UI\<Your directory> then all that is left is to make sure you eq2.ini has in it the line

cl_ui_skinname <Your Directory>

if you have the auto map updater it will install it's files and modify the eq2.ini on it's own.

Hope this helps

If you have eq2map installed, simply unzip the hotbar files into UI\EQ2Map\

Thank you! That finally did it, I was installing it to the wrong folder. I figured it was something simple like that. Thanks so much!
