mouseover issue

For some reason my mouseover has completely disappeared. I have tried several differend modification but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else experienced this? And if you could please, how did you correct the problem.

I would loose my mouse pointer in the middle of gameplay.
I verified the issue was with the Nvidia graphics driver I was using and the EQ2 game.
Since updating to the latest Nvidia driver I have not had this issue any further.
