Default Question for Taco Man re: EQ2Map Updater (Screen Resolution)

I'm running EQ2 on a widescreen laptop with 1680 x 1050 resolution. The background texture on the automatic updater starts tiling, and there is some funky stuff going on with the text boxes. I have attached a picture of what I mean.

Do you, or anyone else on the forum, have any suggestions other than change my screen resolution? I appreciate your input.

Thanks!

Only thing I could think of would be to resize the window, but I don't know if you can do that. That is very weird though, I've never heard of this happening.

EDIT - Just checked on my side, can resize the window to fix the horizontal tiling, but not sure if it would resize your bars or not. I don't think it will now that I think about it.

Anyone else have a thought on this? The background texture isn't a big deal. However the text boxes overlapping each other does make it difficult to read the updates. The good news is it is still functioning and updating files! Thanks for the great program.

I think it seems that the background is not dynamically resizing itself, stretching (sizing) to fit, the window as you resize it. It does this to me as well if I try to stretch the window, I see multiple copies of the background image.

it has to do with your DPI on your computer, any setting beside 96 (or whatever the default is, as i am not positive) will cause that.
