Changing Video Settings

Is there a way to change the "quality" and "performance" video settings.
Now I have to change the settings each time manually (just some minor tweaks like GPU shadows instead of CPU). What file do I have to change?

Hello. I, too, would like to know how to modify this.

However, the most I was able to find was that I should use Notepad++ to edit the files.

So, I installed that and opened up the ProfitUI_[Performance]_Profile file. I see a few r_shadows* entries but I do not know which one should be modified to store the Shadow Type: GPU Shadow Maps.

Is there a page that explains how to modify the graphics settings file similar to the one that explains how to modify the click-to-cure file found here:
