Default Guild Hall Harvest Boxes

It's possible this mod (or the question) is already out there, but I couldn't find it. So I'm asking here if someone can make it.

I used THORUI and have swapped out bits and peices as needed. I espeiclaly appreciate the bank window, with the single click boxes to open inventory and bank boxes.

With the Guild Halls we received a harvesting box. Because of my mod, I get only a black window for the box, no frames, buttons, etc, so no sorting. I can manage, but I'd like to have the features available. I updated what I thought was this window with what I thought was the Sony default. While I did indeed get the default harvest box, it also overrode all the container windows, and I lost the click to open features on the bank window.

What I'd like is the ability to update just the guild hall harvest box, without affecting all my other containers.

If I"m an idiot and have overlooked something, I'm happy to learn that as well.

The Harvest Depot uses its own UI window so modifying it shouldn't have any effect on any of the bank or inventory bags. The UI file you want to edit is eq2ui_inventory_container.xml.

I haven't completely misunderstood your question have I?

I wish you'd named that one a little more... ah... descriptively, Rothgar .

Anywhoo, what is likely the issue is your eq2ui_inventory.xml does not have the <include>eq2ui_inventory_container.xml</include> line in it. If it did, the game should pull the default one -- unless for some reason it has that file but it is empty or something.

You understoond the question exactly. I just assumed the container xml file was for all of them. Suggestions make sense, and I didn't update the includes list as I thought it was one of the default. I'll trys it. Thanks.

Sorry for the naming not being more specific. The intent of this UI window is to work for any new type of "container" objects going forward that could store items.

Thank you that will point me in the right direction when I get home to fix that issue.
Now I have seen posted that the ui's no longer use eq2_mainhud.xml they use a different file now, is that correct ?

could this be why my Voice chat windows show up with the correct appearance how ever when I click choose chat icon I dont get the drop down box and when I click on the voice users I get the box witha drop down window but the inside the box is black ... no users listed?

The EQ2 UI still uses eq2ui_mainhud.xml. However, eq2ui_custom.xml was added so that custom UI authors could use that for their files and so that the game would thusly always draw from the default eq2ui_mainhud.xml.

Not all authors have switched to a system using just eq2ui_custom.xml to contain their files, and even for those that have old files may be floating about causing issues. But the file itself is still used.
