Ok, just swapped out my Comcast modem, and now I had to provision the modem...any site I went to redirected me to the Comcast "you have to install software" site.
Got taht resolved, but things are still acting funny with DNS on some of the PC's on my network.
The laptop that I used to provision with, is perfect. Download the updates in EQ2Map all day long. However, it fails with this error on my main pc (which used to work fine before swapping the modem)
Quote:
Error Getting File List:
The underlying connection was closed: Unable to connect to the remote server.

.
I can surf straight to the web site with the xml file, is there something else I can test out? Like maybe using a host entry for the site the updater uses? I have no firewall active on my PC and nothing has changed on my pc cept the new modem from Comcast.
Is there a cmd line option to import the XML file? or something else I can use?
For now, I use my laptop to update, then FTP over the changes..but I'd like to get to the bottom of it if possible.
Oh, and the "html" area of the updates if page not found.
Thanks
