Himay's OCDed Startbar w/ T1-7 Harvest
Himay's OCDed Startbar
V25.1 All patches and versions now LU 25 compliant. Added support for Fetish and added Video Compiler.
V25.0 Now LU25 compliant! Changed the Journal toggle to Zone Reuse toggle and switched the Harvesting and Unequip All buttons since I use the harvesting about 3 times more often. I accidently fixed the full button version first so I will post the small button version as soon as it is finished. I'm also trying to figure out a video compiler. The ones that others use aren't really compliant for this so I'm still efforting since I'm not a coder and have little clue how to make one.
V23.0 Fixed show hood button to show helm as well.
Made updates to it for KoS.

This looks like something I can really use. However I can not resize it. I only see the EQ2 button. I can move it but cant get it to open up or show up. I have tried the user interface options as I have read some here needed to do. But that isnt working. Like I said I cant even make it show anything other than the EQ2 icon button. PLEASE what am I doing wrong!

press the [alt] key and the [~] key together. if you get an error message in you chat window go to Options -> User Interface -> Game Windows -> (Uncheck) Keep Main HUD Windows Visible. If you don't get an error message try checking keep all windows onscreen, as it may be outside.

help!
ok...i downloaded it, extracted the zips....do i have to put everything somewhere specific, or is there an install or something im not doing? my eq2 button doesn't change....i can move it around, done all the different things in game interface....so, any suggestions?

First of all do you have a folder for your modded UI? If yes then it just needs to be extracted into that folder. If you did that, follow the instructions in the previous post and it should work.
If you don't have a folder, I would suggest downloading EQ2 Map and then unzipping it in the file it creates. Then follow the instructions in the previous post if it doesn't appear automatically.

Do you know if there is a way to "lock" the 'Unequip all' button so that it does not work? The mod looks great but, I kind of dont want an 'unequip all' on my start menu. I hate to accidently take off all of my armor in the heat of the battle.

That feature will be coming off in a further update or at least get moved to a different spot. The main use for this was for when you were going to wipe on a raid you could unequip all and save some cash, but a few patches ago they made it so the most expensive thing you had been wearing lately would take damage. I kept it on since it is a quick way to change for crafting. I'm probably going to trade it for the Harvesting button.

maybe add a [?] icon and direct it to load up milquest info center?
Can put it where the follow player icon is, after all who cant type /fol ? heh
By the way, can ya tell me how to personalize the custom presets?
or perhaps build/include an editor/creator?

You might want to look into Krull's Startbutton Command Center he has the info system in his version. I have other things in my UI that do the same thing so, I'll probably stick to the way it is. We both have been modding this from the original OCD version, and have 2 slightly defferent takes.

I'll look into finding a setup guide for the custom presets. I don't even remember how to set them. I know there is a guide somewhere I'll just have to find it. I'll keep ya posted.

this is a great mod. however i have a problem that after it is installed my zone lockout window just displays a black window - no borders/gadgets/text
if i do not include the mainhud.xml file included with this mod then the zone reuse window appears as normal, but then things like my guild name show as 'Longestguildnameposs' and other display problems appear.
do you have any ideas on this.

I have a great idea on why this is happening. I forgot that it did this. I have a mod that allows you to type during zoning (which prior to upgrading my pc was a very nice almost essential mod to have). I will upload a patch that will put it back to the default zoning window tonight. Sorry about that
Reread message: I had been wondering what was killing my zone reuse window. I'll see what I can do. Hopefully the fix I had thought I needed will fix it all.
Problem should be fixed! Thanks for the post letting me know something was wrong.

I can see after reading the posts how you could be confused, but no it doesn't. It has a modified mainhud.xml file that was causing the zone reuse timer to not display correctly. But, I agree that is a great idea and I'm looking to make some tweeks to this and that may be one of the changes.

Cross character problem
I love this button for many reasons, but I am frustrated because it only shows up for my main character and not any of my alts. Also, when installed the EQ button on my alts becomes "frozen" and will not move at all even if the window is "unlocked". It will work fine on my main character, but not on the alts.
I'm not sure why it is doing this as I have tons of other mods that seem to apply cross characters.

Hello.
Im having the basic problem that only the eq2 startbutton itself shows up, not your modded version.
Some details: Im using the latest fetish and I know that the bagstrip of the fetishmod doesnt work with your one.
As I dont have any use for the bagstrip I disabled it.
If I write ingame /show_window mainHUD.Inventory the startbutton appears with all functionality.
Is there a way I can force to show this window without using a macro everytime I log in?
(alt+~ and all other helpful tips in all threads to this mod dont work, I tried them all)

I'm not Fetish compliant as of yet. I'll work on that when I get a chance... hopefully soon.

with live 27, the popup_usage file seems to be causeing a crash...also, I have been having the issue previously of not having the whole window showing up when I log in, but about a minute later it will show up (is that supposed to be happening or am I just doing something wrong? hehe)

deleating the popup_usagealarm file stops the crashing, but then all the clickable inventory slots (both charm, earing, and food/drink) no longer show any icons (they appear to still function, you just dont get to see what your clicking)

Crashes
I've been having some issues with my comp crashing (independent of the game) and so I haven't been able to trouble shoot anything. I'll remove the timer from the screen since it is only good for the manastone anyways.

Not sure what you mean. The actual startbutton will have a fixed place it starts at and will not appear as part of the modification until you hover over (and possibly off) of the startbar mod. There is no way to change this, it is just one of the little quirks of the programming.
If you mean your actual startbar mod is moving from one place to another, well that is weird and shouldn't be happening.
