Question Going back to defaults?

Hi. I'm a total noob to using non-default ui's and I really like Profit UI but would like to switch a few things back to the defaults. Is there an easy way to explain this?

The things I'd like to change are the inventory & bags windows, and the maintained spells window. Everything else seems great so far!!

(Having a few problems positioning my hotbars but I'll figure that out!)

Thanks in advance.

There are some variants for the bag and maintained windows if you haven't tried those.

To go back to the default just delete these files in your ProfitUI folder.
eq2ui_inventory_inventory.xml
eq2ui_inventory_bag.xml
eq2ui_mainhud_maintained.xml

If you use the auto-updater then you'll need to go into the ignored files window and double click those files to make them red so the auto-updater won't download them again.

Awesome!! Thanks for the info!!!

ETA Went in to delete files and everytime I opened the ProfitUI folder Windows (Vista) would reboot IE. Anyway I noticed theres at least 5 or 6 different files for the maintained spells. Do I delete all of them? (If Windows ever lets me get that far?) I guess the main thing I don't like there is the name of the spells filling up much needed monitor space. If theres a simple way to just shut the names off (except for mouseover) I'd be more than happy.

Thanks again for your help.

You can shut them off multiple ways:
  • resize the window
  • use one of the "duration only" variants of that window

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Well, I figured out how to resize my bags and I'm getting used to the tiny inventory page. Now if I can only figure out how to do this with my maintained spells I'll be good to go.

Thanks again for all the help. I'm going on my first raid with this UI (73 Inq) tonight and look forward to using all the added features for that.
