Seeing GUID numbers in interface element names

Hi all
I've been away from making my own UI mods for about a year. Apparently EQUIBuilder hasn't changed so I'm unsure about this problem I'm having.
When I fire up EQUIBuilder and open eq2ui.xml, I'll click on the SkinInfoPage tab and see some UI elements fine, but the names are like this:

:8da670673dd23707:SmallPushButton

And so forth.

Can anyone tell me why I'd be getting these GUID numbers in the object descriptions? Thanks.

Is there a FAQ? We've had the same UIBuilder since 2005 or so. The localization codes are explained here.
