Map problem, POI's fine, backgrounds white

I ran the updater for eqmap. Going to try it again I did it simultaneously installing fetish not exactly as per instructions but I didnt see how it could matter. Maybe that will correct this but somehow I doubt it (already done it once). Also, not sure how we could be missing files because again the POI's are completely unaffected but what do I know.

For example, tonight me and my wife were messing around in BB, SH, etc, doing the BBC HQ. Antonica is fine. The background is what you normally expect to see when you pull up your map. However, as soon as you zone into a dungeon or leave any main zone area the POI remains intact, in place correctly, but everything in the background is white. Again, thats true in every area we happened to zone into when zoning out of a main area zone.

It really is quite annoying and I hope someone has experienced this and can offer a solution. Running searches here is not turning anything up. I admit I rely heavily on the maps to navigate efficiently through tunnels and etc not having that available has me making wrong turns hand over foot.

In the EQ2Map Updater, make sure it is pointing to your Fetish directory and not some other UI. If you didn't follow my install instructions, its quite possible the updater is pulling map images into the wrong directory.
