map frame and waypoints missing

Hello all. I am having some difficulty with my eq2 map. I have used it flawlessly for a couple of years now however after trying thorui I have lost the frame / buttons / waypoint entry box and button.
I am able to delete the file in eq2 ui and get the map to the game original, but even installing a new eq2 map will not correct the issue.

Any ideas? This is killing my questing without being able to input locations

You can always enter waypoint locations with the command /waypoint #, #, # if you haven't tried that too.

Thanks again, it worked. I needed a few computer smart friends to tell me how .... but it worked.

Had the same problem all you got to do is open your map updater and the third buttom down says options click options and pick in the ui directory neriak and the click ok and click update and when you load game its back.
