Tooltips no longer showing

Hi,

My tooltips are no longer showing for anything. I love this interface, but tooltips are kind of essential when sorting out items. What if anything have I done wrong? Is there a quick fix?

I do get a message the first time tooltips are supposed to work that says that the UI needs to be updated. Then any rollovers that are supposed to result in tooltips just don't work.

Hi. Not sure I can really help but wanted to suggest a few things:

1. Are you using version 3.2?
2. Delete the ProfitUI folder and try reinstalling with Version 3.2 following gm9's installation instructions found here.

I did a clean install of the UI when I downloaded 3.2 and it's been working fine, so maybe something just got overlooked.

Ok, I figured it out. There was a conflict with the only other mod I wanted to use: Geniva's_Profit_MaintainedSlim(Reversed) which is a mod that aligns the maintained spells on the right (which is my preference). It comes with a eq2ui_fonts.xml file that seemingly conflicts with the tooltips feature. I deleted both, and have no further issues...though I do hope that in the future this mod or another like it won't effect the profitui interface.

You do know that ProfitUI already comes with the optional

_eq2ui_mainhud_maintained right slim.zip

don't you? Just extract it and you should be good to go.
