Click Only - Loot, Resurection

Hello all,
How hard would it be to make all the windows that have yes/no, accept/decline etc..., work with mouse click only? My main reason for asking this is, too many times have I accidently made a "choice", while trying to open a chat dialogue.

Anywho, hopefully this would be possible with a simple edit of a line of code within a particular windows XML file.

Simply return to the Default SoE Windows, which are all Mouse-Click Only. The Just-Press-Enter Windows are modded SoE Windows. You can find the XML files in your Custom UI's folder under the UI folder of where EverQuest II was installed.

Just delete the associated XML file(s) and Bam! You're at the Mouse-Click No-Oops windows again.

Delete eq2ui_mainhud_choice.xml from your custom UI. The default UI does not use ENTER and ESC for the popup choice dialogs.

Same applies to eq2ui_inventory_loot.xml

If your set uses a custom skin for the windows in question and you don't want to loose the skin, you'll need to edit each window with Notepad and remove the following code bits...

Most UI sets added this functionality by popular demand. Yes it can result in accidentally confirming or canceling a dialog when chatting, but the problem is mostly avoided if you get into the habit of using slash(/) to initiate chat rather than ENTER.

Haven't used default UI in so long, didn't even realize it was that way.

Anyways, thanks again. I'll attempt the edit part. I feel that that would be easier than trying to edit my habits.
