Chat tab intervention

I do not know if this has been addressed. It is far too early to read thru every single thread searching for it. :-D

After I installed the mapper, one of my chat tabs continuously detached from the main chat window and popped into the middle of my lower screen half, covering my special abilities hotkey bars. It did this when either of two things were going on;
1. System messages (such as the servers coming down this morning).
2. Whenever combat initiated - imagine my little assassin freaking out when a big arse orc started pounding him and he couldn't use any of his specials, including the best one "Run Away!"

I had not a single issue with this prior to the mapper d/l this morning. Immediately after installing it and launching EQ2, however, there it was.
It is kind of detrimental to playing the game (or at least 'staying alive').
A fix please?

It is only a coincidence, it is physically impossible for EQ2MAP to have caused that issue.

It's been happening to people without eq2map as well, as posted on the official forums.
