harvestable items on map?

how do i see the location of harvestable items on the map? say a windswept rock or something
i downloaded eq2 map today and dont know much about it....other than its awsome!!

You dont, they are random spawns thus they arnt on the map and deleted if some one submits them because they will be wrong as soon as some one harvests the node.

EQ2Map does not show real time posistions. We just put "push-pins" where people submit locations of static named locations.

If there was something that was "seeing" the nodes as they spawned and despawned, though not positive, I am pretty sure it would be deemed as an unfair advantage and thus "cheating" by SOE.
