Default search function borked

Everything else seems to be working but my search function hasn't worked in a while. I can see all the POIs on the map and even search for the exact spelling and nothing happens. I have tried removing and re-installing eq2maps a couple times but it still doesn't work. Anyone have any suggestions?

Ahh ok. I had both of them checked and it didn't work. Un-checking search POI by keyword fixed it even though that doesn't seem to make logical sense. Thanks!

Default EQ2Maps Search Engine

I wanted to post to offer a thanks to Ballzz. I too was having issues with the search engine not working but still being able to see and click on all the POIs. I looked into my Options menu in game to confirm that I had all the map options ticked where needed, and that all the folders on my system were in thier proper places and configured, but still no search engine. Then I remembered what Ballzz wrote about ( UN-TICKING ) some of the boxes. Sure enough, the search engine started working as it once did before the SF xpac.

So in conclusion, if you think you've dotted all your I's and crossed all your T's, try the obscure and put on your Leroy Jenkins tenny-truckers!

Default Still having map search issues.

I'm still having issues with EQ2MAP.

My map shows all the POI's correctly and identifies them. I am also seeing the updated EQ2Maps Interface.

I cannot however perform any type of search keyword or otherwise.

I've checked the information above and the difference that I see is that I have none of the options listed in the graphic shown in a previous post of this thread.

My Options, User Interface, Map Window shows only an option to "Show quest icons on map". Checking and unchecking this option makes no difference.

Any ideas of how I can get this options back or correct this issue?

Click the advanced tab in the top right of the settings menu to be able to see all the options.

Default Thanks

Yes that appears to be the part I over looked. Turned off the options and it works fine once again.

Thanks.
