Help with 2560 resolution

I'm having problems using the latest version of Profit on a 30" monitor with 2560 x 1600 resolution. The group and target windows are tiny and it is extremely difficult to select any of the cures or abilities by clicking in the group window because the scale is so small. I cannot seem to re-size these windows to make them larger in game by any means of dragging or right click / settings.


I searched around and someone mentioned to load the ui settings in the Profit control window for 2500 x 1200, but the highest res I can select in that window is 1900 x 1200, and it doesn't seem to change anything at all when I load that one.

Any suggestions for making the group and target windows larger while running the game at the 30" monitor's native resolution?

Use another UI for those windows...

Which windows specifically do you have a problem seeing. I might be able to make you a larger variant.

I think the big ones are the target bar (the self/target/target's-target one) and the group and raid windows. Those seem to be fixed in size based on the text font size, so the larger your monitor the smaller the windows appear to be. Once you get past about 1680x1050 those windows start getting too small to be comfortable.

Biggest problem for me is the group window, I can live with everything else. I like the click to cast heals / cures that comes with Profit, but they are just too small at 2560 x 1600. Any suggestions for a workaround or an alternative group window would be much appreciated.

I think with more and more people switching up to HDTV's for their game monitors larger variants are a plus to Profit. I helped a guy with fonts here not long ago even though we had to revert but hdtv's at 1080i are indeed hard to configure and so are the wider screen monitors that are coming out.

I will see what I can do. I run at 1920X1080 so have been thinking about it for myself but have been putting it off. Let me see what I can do.

PS this is a photoshopped enlargement not ui code so the actual code change will look a little different from what you see in the picture when done.

2560 x 1600, I'd prefer the biggest increase (30%), as things are almost microscopic at the current size.
