I noticed in the ProfitUI directory there are folders that appear to be different types of group windows..
If I wanted to use one of those is it just a matter of deleting the current group window (or renaming it) and taking the one I want and copying it into the PrifitUI directory?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Edit: I tried just renaming the default (Vertical) group window that i started with and copying the one in the "eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers_(Vertical compact).zip" folder because I wanted a smaller vertical group window so I figured the vertical compact was worth a try.
When I logged in all it was was a black square. When I invited someone, nothing.. still a black square.
when I went to rename the original vertical default one to it's original name, it is now a horizontal one so thats what I have at the moment.
would like to try and install the vertical compact but as you can see it is not working for me.
Any ideas?
Thanks

The point is that the vertical compact one doesn't exist anymore in the latest ProfitUI I released, there is only (default) and (compact). The other files you have are from previous releases and will not work anymore.
Oh ,I didn't realize the vertical one does not exist. Well I tried to copy the
Eq2ui_Mainhud_groupmembers.xml file from my wifes comuter as she has the vertical group window (Not the compact one though).
but when I copied it over and logged in, it was still the same horizontal group window I had prior so now I am really confused.
I know for a fact hers is the vertical one. Am I copying the wrong file?
Also I tried the auto updater way (Compact and Default) and no matter what I end up with the horizontal group window not the vertical one.
How can I get the default vertical one back without reinstalling the UI?

Man, I said red line and the FAQ (or the release notes once in a while)! You can switch between vertical and horizontal layout using the window settings.
OK I will take a second look at the window settings (Right click on the window itself) but I could have sworn I did not see any option for vertical or Horizontal in the window settings.. I actually looked there first..
