Recipe Window?

Using EQ2UiBuilder or even editing files directly... is there a way to remove the 18 char text limit on the search field in the recipe window? i'd like to remove it to make finding items easier... only place in the game there's any real text limit, don't know why....

If there is a character limit (I can't remember there being one, but haven't crafted since the crafting revamp ages ago) it must be hardcoded, there is nothing in the XML to cause this.
