Default No idea what I am doing wrong.

I have been installing custom UIs for a long time. I know and understand the process outlined in the FAQ, but for some reason it isn't working. I have my eq2.ini file and nothing loads upon entry into the game. I also can not use /loadui with it. At the moment I have some weird "default" (?) thing going on with icons way oversized and just ugly.

I have been gone from the game for a year but nothing that I can see has changed for the process. I even attempted to use a UI with a auto updater, GeeZers to be exact.

I am just at my wits end. I love messing with the Ui as much as playing but it is getting bothersome at this point.

Are you trying to use a custom UI that you have modified in any way? If so, it sounds like you may have made a change that caused the games xml parsing to fail -- at which point the game will completely ignore that ui and use the default.

If you haven't tinkered with it at all, can you post the contents of your eq2.ini and the file structure to the UI starting with your EQ2 folder(ie: EverQuest 2/UI/MyUI )

in other words: you have installed in the wrong folder. Most common cause: you have several eq2 installations (you'll of course deny that and it will still be true in most cases ) and are playing on the one you didn't install the UI to.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

You very well could have the answer here. I only see one EQ2 folder but I do run two accounts at times and have two active accounts. I'll mess with it some more today amd see if I can figure it out from that angle. Thanks.
