pox67 for sending me his .ini file so I could test whether the unmovable chat window was related to a broken .ini. Well, it was not.
However, I've been going through the game options and found the following option:
User Interface -> Chat window -> Allow clicking through window (actual wording might be different).If you check this option, you will indeed be unable to move the chat window. I suppose that this is the problem you are having.
Could you please confirm whether you have this option checked?
I noticed that the default chat window has a tiny area to the top where you can still grab and move it even with this option checked, so if this option is indeed the problem I suppose I can change my window accordingly.
